The principle behind this site

This website embeds no third-party services. There are no analytics tools, no ad networks, no external fonts and no cookies. Every file is served from this domain's own server. When you open a page, your IP address leaves your browser only in the direction of that server.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request and IP address. This data is not merged with other sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in operating the site free of technical faults. The retention period follows the hosting provider's specifications.

Getting in touch

If you send me an email, I process your details in order to handle the enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contractual relationship, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is kept until its purpose no longer applies or you request its deletion, unless statutory retention periods say otherwise.
